Featured Japanese brass snuff box?

    hi folks

    something i found at a boot sale last week for not very much

    quite a nice quality, nice crisp detailing

    wondering if its a snuff box or not, maybe a table snuff

    maybe too large 3 1/4 inches, heavy as well

    any help on age or info appreciated

    I would've snapped that up in a heartbeat and I'm not supposed to "add" to my collection, I'm supposed to be "subtracting" now. :hilarious:
