Featured Jacobean or art deco armchair? need some help

Hi all, first time on here just looking for some expertise.

I recently purchased a beautiful old armchair and i have no idea where it originates or what style/era it belongs to.

I have no makers marks or stampings, i can not find anything quite like it from extensive online searches.

I see neo gothic, jacobean, art deco, club chair but i cant be sure

It has some pretty strong manly Baroque influence - yes, a Deco chair & a nice one.

 

And what looks like its original upholstery.

Yes i believe it is the original upholstery albeit with some cat damage from a past life

I'd say not art deco proper, but from that era, and clearly reflecting some of the feel. Still, Solomonic/barley uprights were not part of the deco repertoire. What it does look is comfortable, and it is interesting. I like it. Oil and wax that oak whenever you get a chance for maximum looks and durability. Good one.
