Featured Italy stamped majolica planter

    hi guys

    anyone know the possible maker for this planter

    unsure if its antique or more mid century

    the only stamped italy i can find is for a bitossi second mark, but doesnt look anything like bitossi

    measures 6 1/2 by 5 1/2

    any thoughts appreciated

    Charlie. try it on the Bitossi Facebook page, they're magic fast on ids. It's MCM, but several people used impressed Italy makrs.

    Very nice. Can't help you but it certainly looks pre war to me. (Just a gut feeling)

    it reminds me Aldo Londi or Ramini Raymor but i can't find the same model

    yeah me either rec, but im starting to love those classic Aldo Londi turquoise blue pieces

    you look for one thing and end up loving something else :)

    IIRC impressed marks like that are later (1980's+) and not necessarily Bitossi but I could be off on that

    There's some 60s stuff with the impressed marks, but I've forgotten who.

    Thanks rec, didn't notice it before but the centre of the flower is quite rimini blue esque , looking at other examples

    Search raymor for bittosi you can easily find some other oker yellow vases with some similarities

    Don't think mines in any way cool like the bitossi ones though

    More old fashioned
