    Hello again,

Hope you all had a lovely Monday!

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of what this fellows name might be.

He looks to be a soldier, but if a military individual could confirm this.

The Postcard is Italian, or at least is in italian.

    Any help would be appreciated!
    Warm Regards,

Bear in mind Italians from that age wrote there names with just an initial for the surname and the full first name.
Example. my Ex father in law was Stefano Guizzelli but wrote or signed his name G. Stefano.

It is unusual to see the front of an Italian soldier, usually its only the back whilst they are running away :D:rolleyes:

Is that a campaign bar above his pocket?

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I'd say it's G. DeDominici. Not sure if the "De" should be separated by a space.

    JMHO.
not a soldier - too old - but a member of the Fascist Party. very hard to differ in those years because the members that fought in WWI were allowed to wear their campaign bars on the Party Uniform. and the Fascist Party was first really a group of ancient soldiers (fasci di combattimento) that also wore the Fasces sign.

Looks like Mussolini's cousin and Mussolini himself was put before an Italian firing squad and ended up with 6 bullet holes from 1,000 Italian marksmen.
