Featured ISO: Further Identification Help; Mid-Century Woodblock

We are having difficulty identifying any artist background for this large woodblock, and were hoping somebody out here may know a little more.

Any help is deeply appreciated; thank you -

Our signature line interpretation from L -> R:

"3/50 (Chinese character?) I Zhao Rueijuan 1959 (Chinese character?)"

 

I absolutely LOVE this !

 

We do too; massive + impressive size and scale - intriguing subject matter.

 

I see Zhao Rueijuan. I am not finding anything under that name or even similar.

 

I also love this. Beauuuutiful line work, texture and composition.

 

Yes - we have continued to have difficulty finding anything additional on this artist.

Does it seem like an "Americanized" last name? Seems like a peculiar spelling if the artist is native Chinese.

Obviously Zhao Yannian's work was influential mid-century and beyond to a host of native artists there in mainland China - not too much out there for this generation's artists. A lot of anonymity.

手 seems to be the title, as it means 'hand'
