I bought this at a flea market in Nowheresville Maine for 10 bux. Its solid copper with the star of David in the center and some writing. Its about 30 inches across and pretty heavy. I have been using it in my "mans room" as a target for suction dart shooting. Any ideas? its stamped : "maksut...dur...kurfa". Does that mean, "I got taken for a ride for 10 bux" in another language? ;lol

It is a Moroccan table top. More likely brass than copper. They sell for a decent amount new. They hardly sell at all used. At least you got about eight pounds of scrap value.

They sell reasonably well if they have a base .......

This top sold for $40.00 by itself with pretty high shipping.

These are just a few examples. You can see more if you search eaby completed listings using Moroccan Brass Table for search words.

If it's copper it's probably worth that in scrap metal. Either way it's cool looking and can be used for its original purpose, and ten bucks for a heavy metal tray is a good deal. Price something out at a home dec store and you'll go back home and give this a good polishing. ;-)
