Is this Orrefors?

    I thought it was Snow White on the front but now I see it is not I see a bunch that are similar but the duck/goose/bird and girl looks a little different than the ones I can find It is crystal Do you think it is Orrefors?

    If there's no Orrefors etched signature on it, you might also want to check Stromberg Crystal (Sweden.) Check their "goose girl" line.

    The danish firm Holmgarrd also did similar. The lack of detail has me wondering if a source other than Scandinavia is better.

    An "educational question" here, if no-one minds and not a criticism on Gauntlettgem's lovely glass - of which I ALSO love the scene!!!! When something is professionally etched onto glass, are the edges of the etch always so 'coarse' ???? Thanks.....

    I believe this was cut and left unpolished thus the uneven edge. The other possibility is sand carving. To etch this with acid it would be necessary to mask all of the "shiny" parts before exposing it to the acid fumes.
