    Hi

Can anyone shed some light on this plate please? Is it original Delft blue or something else?

    Thank you.

I don't think any of the marks they show are the same.

Updating this thread with better images of the R in a diamond and the plate itself. Can anyone help identify please? Also what is the best way to remove the metal hanger, do I literally prise it off? Feels fragile and risky!

    Thank you.

I would cut the wires so the hooks can just fall off :)

Untie the wire and it will relax letting you remove them.

    Hi
This is certainly not genuine Dutch Blue Delft. Early Delft is earthenware with a tin glaze.
Your plate is of a hard paste body and the pattern is printed. As to the mark, it certainly is not of any Dutch Delft stable i have seen. Also, note English Delft is also earthenware which has a tin glaze. Use long nose pliers to snap one section and then the rest falls away.
    Good luck

Thank you... if I could, I'd rename this thread to "R in diamond stamp" I can't find the maker..
