Is this factory painting?

    image.jpg image.jpg I seen this today, didn't purchase it. It's signed but I can't make out the name. The medium seems to be applied very heavily. When close up to it, it looks like a big pile if junk. When you stand off at a distance, the image is very clear. I really need to get to some museums and galleries to educate myself.

    Looks like a factory painting to me. Heavily applied paint is called impasto.
