Is this an original print from WWI?

When I Googled the name on the back of the poster, I found a couple of references to a W. A. Gentner but nothing at that address. I found a Connecticut car registration from 1914 and an MIT thesis from 1911. Would a business buy some of these to give away or did they have them reprinted?
The diagonal lines in the lower right hand corner that extend across to Pershing's face are part of the ribbon. I rushed to take the photo while I still had light and didn't really notice the strings were in the way. Were these ribbons original? I searched the internet and found some old listings but nothing had a price. Any idea what these are worth if it is the real deal? Thank you.

It looks as if it ought to be a chromo-lithograph.

A later copy woud be photographically reproduced, can you see any tiny dots from the printing. Solid colour = chromolithogtaph. It is possible the soldier's pictures may be offset, but if the main image is chromo, it is a period piece.

No idea about value, anything like that I'd just auction and see what it makes.

William A Gentner ran a saloon at that address at the right time.

Thank you AF and Bakersgma. I just took these two photographs under artificial light. I do see dots but not like the modern dot matrix I am accustomed to seeing. I also noticed that the yellow went over the line of the jacket and the pants on the lower right side.

That does look period to me.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Mill Cove, if you go to the Graphics Atlas (http://graphicsatlas.org/) and look under Identification, then under Photomechanical processes, you can look at several different types of prints, even seeing magnifications. These may help you to identify the exact printing process, if you are interested.
