Is this an Empoli or Murano Glass Vase?

    Does anyone recognize this vase? The pattern looks like some Empoli glass I've seen but I've read that Empoli glass is thin. This is thick, heavy glass and in that respect it looks like Murano. It has an applied green rim at the top and a pontil mark at the bottom. It's about 8" tall x 8" in diam, weighs over 4 pounds. emp.jpg emp (1).jpg emp (2).jpg

    I know absolutely next to nothing about Empoli, and slightly more about Murano.

    I doubt this is either.

    It's "newer" Blenko, Catalog #9431, Hank Adams would have been the designer at that time. I only saw it in the 1994 & 1995 catalogs, so probably only made 2 years.
