Featured Is this amber or something else ?

    Hello,

    Will you please give me your opinions about this necklace ? It floats in salted water, but it floats a little bit in normal water (not so much though).. and what throws me off is that some of the beads are "peeling".. what do you think ? Thank you so much ! :):)

    The UV reaction looks wrong for amber.

    It is lovely, Xristina, and it is one of the early plastics. It looks the same as one of mine which I posted somewhere on the forum.
    I appreciate you doing all the testing so we don't have to ask.:happy: But... when there is peeling, it is best to wait with the salt water test. Some of those early plastics have tender little souls.
