Hello Board Friends - I'm trying to figure out if this is a Staffordshire cup plate or some type of child's dish. It measures about 4 1/16" across and 1/2" in height. The pattern looks like an abbey to me but I'm not real sure. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Looks more like a dish than a saucer, so maybe from a child's set. Probably 1850 onwards.

I wanted to refer you to the Blue and White transfer site. But I was shocked to see that they closed at the end of September.:(

@daveydempsey The site https://www.blueandwhite.com/Default.asp on the Porcelain and Pottery reference list you added to this Forum is no longer operational. You should probably remove it. :(

Subject is abbey ruins. A popular Victorian transferware motif.

Thank you, Davey. Sad they folded, but better to remove than create frustration for others.

Thanks, everyone. It's a shame that site is gone. :(

I think butter pat is more probable.

    Where, Janet?

Never mind. I see now. Maybe restoring the link to the more direct connection is a good idea.
