I had posted this in the finds thread last week but could use opinions on the age and what it is. I think it's a sash pin as it is so large, 4 1/2" wide and 2 3/4" tall. It is made of brass filigree, has a trombone clasp. So do you think it is from the late 1800's or early 1900's? I would appreciate any help in identifying. Hope you are all having a good day. @Bronwen, thank you for looking. I think sash pin also. Not sure if it's Victorian or Edwardian though.

@bosko69, Yes, definitely really big and that's after I resized them. I am not even sure why they came out so large. The original size was over 3 MB. Thanks for the compliment on the pics.

Does it glow under UV? Looks like it could!

I’m inclined to early twentieth and Bohemian. Very nice.

@KSW I don't have a UV light. Are you referring to the stone? If it glowed, what would that mean? I think the stone is glass.

@Ownedbybear, thanks, that's very helpful. I am going to try to give the brass a light polish, just with a sunshine cloth, and see if it will brighten up a bit.
