Is this a real copeland piece or fake if real how old? Marked Copyright Reserved Copeland

    Huh. Not usual for Copeland -- the British one. Copyright Reserved seems American to me. I'm stumped, but I do love that turquoise!

    Googling indicates most items with that mark are parian ware and generally dated to the 1870s. Interesting!

    I think it’s fine. Looks to me like a mid to late nineteenth Chinese style lion, emulating Chinese glaze colours. Minton did lovely blues like this, too.

    Looks like an impressed 74, maybe for 1874?
