Hi all. Had this for a while but havent been able to really determine much. Its 12 inches high, stamped "hand painted,Nippon" . Ive not been able to pin down much other than theres a vast difference in what they sell for ! My mother has claimed it so I guess Ill be looking at it awhile.Any input is always appreciated.

It's OK, not really the valuable style.

I thought the quality was less than so Im not surprised its "meh" . But for $4 how wrong could I go? Not that I dont have 100 vases already !

This is called a Cherry Blossom mark. Traditionally it is assigned to Noritake during the Morimura period. It was used on china made by other producers that Noritake marketed.

Typically Nippon is pre 1921. But as I said typically.

Well it is pretty and is an older piece that is hand painted. I'm sure you did good at what you paid.
They did love to paint flowers.
this is one i couldn't bring myself to sell. It is oriental China Dessert plate hand painted Nippon made before 1920. One of the only floral designs i kept. atree 22699.jpg
