Is this 18th cent. Limbach porcelain?

    I can't tell. If the mark is good, I suppose it is 18th C. According to Rontgen the mark for this factory was changed to a cloverleaf in the 1780s. Knowing when various colors were introduced is an important part of dating porcelain, but it's not information I have.

    I know very little about Porcelain, but what a LOVELY sweet piece!! What about gently soaking that bit of felt off the bottom edges? Sometimes there is writing along those edges..........but see if @moreotherstuff or others object to my suggestion first....I wouldn't want you to do anything negative to the piece!!

    I doubt it will make difference.

    Probably called "The Music Lesson" and based on a painting by Francoise Boucher. Might even be taken from other porcelain renditions:

    Seems to me we've seen this compostion on these boards previously.
