    Hi,
Only marked sterling. I thought I remembered these had a special name to them but I cannot figure out what it is. I know they are stamped Are these native? I do think they have some age to them. They are small. Right under 2 1/4” across the inside and the opening is a little less than an inch. Maybe for a small adult? I don’t think they are child size.

    What are your opinions?

    Thank you

It's a cuff bracelet, the size is the same as I wear and I'm not the size of a child.Since it does not have a maker's mark, anyone could have made them the stamps have been available for over 40 years. Photo of my cuff bracelet.

    Ditto.

This type of stampwork is used by Navajos, but by others as well.

I have bangles with the same pattern . Assumed Navajo. Bought them in Sedona AZ.

They're not completely round. Cuffs have a slot to help get your hand in and fit closer to the wrist. Bangles slide over your hand, provided your hands fold up enough to get them on. Some folks can't, and thus hinged bangles were born.

Guy bangles and newer ones tend to have a larger diameter. Those older bitty jade things can be worn and taken off only by children.

In my opinion Navajo (Southwestern for selling) sterling stacking bracelets. Neither cuff nor bangle.

I have a similar pair, completely unmarked, that my mother acquired when she was a teenager (1940 - 45) during a family vacation to, I think, the Black Hills, which is not to say the bracelets originated in that part of the world. Agree with others that they are Navajo, probably sold in a Fred Harvey-type establishment. The style is a classic, hard to date.

Recall my mother saying that the look at the time was to wear them with a sweater, on top of the sleeve, not directly against the skin.

Just want to add that I was in a preloved resale fashion store yesterday. I know that they don’t carry precious metal jewelry. Saw a gorgeous obviously Navajo bracelet in their luxury case and asked to look at it. It was beautifully stamped, not silver on inspection and was interior stamped Saint Laurent. I cracked up-obviously didn’t buy it.
