International Silver Company Vases

    Hi All,

    Bought this at an estate sale for $15. Don't know if a good buy. This floral vase is about 8 inches tall. Silver plated. Can you tell me if it's modern or vintage? Any idea on age?

    Not sure about exact age, but International sold their silver plated hollowware business to Oneida in 1981, so it's not "modern modern." I would guess not a great deal earlier than that, though, based on design.

    What's with the bottom surface? Looks black, not just tarnished.
