Can someone tell me about this? Is it old? What stones are in it? What is the "filler" area that holds all the stones in place. What is the interior metal that forms the rings?

    It's 1 & 3/4" by about 2".

The metal looksl like mostly brass. The stone could be turquoise in a "resin" setting. These used to come out of India, Nepal or thereabouts. Age...who knows. Could be 10 years old and could be 60, although the modern stuff is likely to use dyed random rock instead of turquoise.

Thank you. It looks like various types of stones and maybe even two types of metals. The metal dots are yellower metal, and there seems to be a darker blue and a paler baby blue stone. I realize turquoise may have those variations. There is also a yellowish stone.

Agreed, Indian. I've rather a lot of this stuff, I'm very fond of it. First bought in my hippy days.

The whiter metal could be paktong or equivalent.

Nepal and turquoise in natural resin. Base white metal, those brass studs are a nice detail.
Not antique, similar pieces are still being made, but the copper loop points to an older and traditional piece made for the domestic Himalayan market.
The recent ones are also inlaid with turquoise chips.
