I've had these for a while because I've been unable to find anything like them.

They're thick cast brass and double ended which is unusual. But the really unusual thing is there's no way to mount them except to screw them onto a threaded pipe. And that would twist the wires.

The wiring is similar to what I've found in the vintage Spanish brass chandeliers but these are much nicer castings.

Anyone seen these before or know anything about them?

    Thanks!

Might have a tough time fitting the plug through the pipe, too ;)

They may have started out as being part of a gas lighting fixture.

Well, when You screw that threaded part onto the pipe just have someone else on the other end twisting the wires the opposite way? :) (of course, not with the plug attached just yet)

The plug on the one fixture doesn't belong. Someone was using it to display the sconce lit up.

I thought about that but gas flame goes up. It can't do that wih opposing jets. One would be up and the other pointing down.

Or a "SIDE to SIDE" sconce fixture missing the lamp connection? (But I don't think so, looks too "electricaly" ) (be helpful to see a pic of the socket)

    2 bulbs on each.

A curtain rail fitting would have mounting holes, wouldn't it?

These are lovely and do look like theater sconces to me :)

Must have been one heck of a biscuit box mount to hold that vertically against the wall. Very pretty, I would use them or sell them as is.
