I recently came across this Russel Wright Steubenville Studios Mosaic tile oval dish and purchased it because we liked it so much. Now I would like to find out more about it if I could. I have looked all over the interwebs for mosaic pieces by Russel Wright and have found nothing. I even emailed his daughter Anne which looks like has taken over operations of the Wright Studios operations and I have not heard anything back. Not sure I was going to but thought I would try. Any info anyone may have would be greatly appreciated. The measurements on the dish are 11" long by 5" wide.

Thank you for any info you might have on this piece!!

Looks to me like someone added mosaic tiles to an American Modern oval underplate...

Alas, that's my guess too. The dreaded Craft Project piece.

Agreed. Someone added tile later on. I don't think there was a mosaic line.

Looks like that stuff everyone did in the 60s. My grandma had several pieces .

Reminds me of George Briard, but with more space between the "tiles."

It does. Probably was someone's project.
