    Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has any information about this little table. Also, the legs are a little rickety and I would like some advice on how to tighten them up!

    Thank you!

    Hi,
Looks like a 1940s Demilune table. If a bit wobbly try removing the screws and putting a bit of toothpick into each hole and tighten the screws again.

Agree with 40s demi-lune. Wood looks like walnut. The only real way to reliably tighten this is to disassemble and re-glue.

I still use the toothpick method......it just doesn't last though...

So far, toothpicks and glue works GREAT for me!!!! BTW Komo, THIS guy, from the PEM, looks STRIKINGLY close to your AVATAR.....NOT exact, but close!!! Cute!!!!!

Not only cute, but worth a fortune...
A lot of NWC artists start off by studying museum collections to hone their understanding of the traditional forms and designs used by their ancestors .
The Portrait mask from the PEM, is a distinct style from a certain area and tribal culture, & yes , the artist who did my mask created his version of a Northern Portrait mask, based on this same style, but with his own twist on the design.
