    Hi All
I was studying the lost art works of Salvador Dali. Does anyone have info on how many lobster telephones Dali actually made and of those how many are still in known locations?
In the wiki page below it lists he made 5 of the color types giving their respective locations and 6 off-white types giving only the present location of 4. Is this information accurate? Does it mean 2 of the off-white types are still missing?

    thanks!

thanks for the links Kingofthings...From one of your links it seems one of the off-white versions was up for sale in an auction recently.. But I still could not get from your links how many of the off-whites types are still out there missing or unlocated...the colored types are all accounted for.
    thanks!

Just for anyone interested here is a list of "unknown location" works of Dali.

It is my motivation to compile and sort out systematically missing impottant works of art so that during my various antique travels and searches I would be on the lookout. You can find similar free online resources for Paul Cezanne, Van Gogh, Roy Lichtenstein etc..
