Info on Lady’s Roll top Please

Hi,
Thank you for any information anyone can provide. I purchased this lady’s roll top desk in the late 80’s from an antiques shop. I believe I was told it was tiger stripe mahogany from the 20s-30’s. I do not know if this is accurate so was hoping for some input.

I do not see any maker marks on it but didn’t pull it out to fully check. Wondering thoughts on wood, age and possibly value. I am downsizing and need to sell it. I’m in CO which is not a big antiques area for supply or demand. Thank you!

 

More correctly termed ribbon mahogany. Think a 30s -50s date to be accurate. Value is tough. Really worth what you can get for it once you find a buyer. Here in my semi-rural Midwest area, this would likely be under $100. My recollection of prices in CO are that they are a bit higher. You might try starting it somewhere under $200.00 ($150, $175, ??) to see if you get any interest. You can always lower the price if no interest.
