Picked up this barstool at my thrift shop for pretty cheap. I do believe some of the mechanisms are not original. The handle to adjust it is plastic along with the knob on the bottom. Also the hydronic to make it go up or down doesn't work. So im wondering would you just remove the seat and sell the seat? The seat I believe is lucite. Or sell it as is and let someone else fool with it? Thanks for any input.

My opinion: single instead of a set, hydraulics don't work, replacements parts, rivets missing, seats scuffed, plus your investment = sell it "as is" & let someone else have the pleasure of dealing with all the restoring, unless keeping it for your own use.

Also, the set that Aquitaine posted has a much different foot rest part.
