    Hi folks

something i found in a charity shop yesterday, only a couple of quid, and was almost black, but thought it had potential
might have gone a bit far with the clean, but wanted the details to show
im presuming from india. i see quite a few but this seemed better. not sure what metal it is. solid/heavy, think brass
the black areas are i think a black enamel
    not sure of the age
    any info or comments appreciated

I do think India. Bidriware is inlayed with silver, whereas, this appears to be enamel. Might be what is called Bichi work.
