Incense Burner/Censer? Bronze?

    Looking for your thoughts on this piece please. It is marked FRANCE OR FRANGE (The C looks like a G)

    #1-Is it a censer?
    #2-Can you tell what type of metal has been used from the photos?
    #3-Is it old or just a reproduction?

    I agree. Nice piece, but there doesn't seem to be smooth natural wear.
    Could you show us the feet please?

    Looks like pot metal with a bronze finish to my eye. See if you can scratch the bottom of a foot or somewhere inside. If it scratches silver, it is pot-metal. If scratches gold, it is brass or bronze.
