    Hi All,

Really hoping someone might be able to help, I've unfortunately broken someone's bone China teacup made by royal stafford.

The pattern is unknown by the current manufacturers as they said it does not belong to their range, it was made by a company that went out of business in 1992 or something like that..?

I've attached the picture of the pattern on the plate, the teacup is the same.

I'm looking to buy a set or just a teacup if anybody has anything or has seen this before?

    Thanks!
    Adam

Hey Adam...that's a bitch, but since you're looking to remedy the situation.....
    Good on you !!

I 'd suggest you repost this thread in the WANTED forum so it doesn't get buried over time......or maybe ask a Mod to move it there !!

A pic of the underside may be helpful also !!

Adam, I checked at Replacements.com for you. They don't have it in stock, but you might still want to contact them about it:

    http://www.replacements.com/webquote/rstrst253.htm

They don't have a NAME for the pattern, just a number.. They do show a photo at the link above.

Oh wow that was fast thank you! I thought I'd checked that site but clearly not well! I have filled in a form to see what they say, but if anyone does have any they'd part with I'd be very grateful!

Komokwa, what made it worse was they literally said be very careful with it as I picked it up.. I'll repost there, thanks!

    Thanks again komokwa and sbsvc.

Adam, I know what's it's like when you damage something, no matter HOW unintentionally!

Some folks get SO attached to their things that it's a tragedy when something gets broken!

I'm happy to say that I've never been that way. It's just stuff, you know? I've had guests break everything from Baccarat crystal to 200-year old chairs, and you know what? It's still just STUFF, and while I love having it, I certainly won't be taking it with me when I go.

Nonetheless, I admire you for trying to replace that cup!

Yes thats a great post! I agree completely.

The good thing is in this case, I don't think they were that attached! I just think they would really appreciate the replacement
