In need of help putting price on my Dixie dresser!

Hi,

I recently was given this vintage Dixie 6 drawer dresser. Clean and with minimum evidence of wear. Has original hardware. I have no sentimental attachment to it and would appreciate any help on putting a price tag on it!

$50 might be possible in my US Midwest suburban area. You don't say where you are located and that can be a factor in pricing. I presume you will be selling locally and not shipping it?
I occasionally see Dixie pieces in my local thrift stores.
Vintage brown furniture, even well made stuff like Dixie, is not an easy sell and the style of your chest of drawers is not particularly desirable. (Your piece looks 1970s/80s-ish to me but I don't claim to be an expert in dating furniture.)
Another hindrance is that you only have one piece... no matching dresser w/mirror or nightstand or headboard?
But a good solid chest of drawers can usually be useful storage to someone.

It looks like 1970s bedroom furniture to me too. Around here (southern New England) it's all but given away; if a piece sells for $100 it's a banner day.
