Imperial German? Russian?? Pin? Or a wanna-be

    It has a double eagle, crowned in the center and a yellow and black enamel Maltese cross. C clasp on the back and an older style hinge but not a tube. It's made like a miniature medal, but is it just a pin or something better?

    Austria-Hungary with the yellow and black cross, similar design to an officers “long service” decoration aside from the wreath and being in miniature pin form.

    Thanks Anund. All those double-headed eagles get me confuzzled. If it's like the British one it was made to be worn on one's civvies.
