I have this beautiful ring that used to belong to my grandmother. I am looking for help to identify the mark inside - any advice on worth and how/where to sell would also be greatly appreciated!

I also have this brooch which I believe to be a Victorian mosaic brooch, it has a marking of FAP on the back but some tiny parts are missing, see photos. Any idea of how much this is worth and where I can take it?

    thanks in advance!

Welcome @keSla . It is very difficult to discern the items you would like IDed with that pile of jewellery in the background. It is better to put the item on a plain white background and take a photo without fingers.;)
Nice ring, costume, and may not be silver. Do you mean the number that has 2073 in it? That is probably a manufacturer's code.
Could you show the back? Not just the mark, but the entire back please.
I can't see. It is a lovely brooch, well made, but bits missing will influence the value.

    This.
Then please show us photos of all the other goodies in the box behind!
I love a box like that to sort through and doing it vicariously through someone else is the next best thing!

Yup, we need individual photos please, plain background and showing the back of things like brooches. That does look like a very nice older micro mosaic piece. Tricky as heck to repair.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

I've enlarged both the Mosaic brooch and the ring 3X, but the ring may need a good Loupe on it & write it down.....very hard for me to read other than the numbers which look like 20731- I think!!!! BOTH LOVELY!!!!

Some sellers give the period as 1870-1900.

The ring looks like mid 1960s - early 1970s to me, when both Victorian revival & dome rings were in. It could be silver; lots of costume rings were, even if the stones in them were glass.

The cameo in this FAP frame is turn of the 20th century:

That textured back certainly is fairly recent, mid 1960s - early 1970s could be right. I was thinking a little later, but neither recent nor costume are things I know much about.

And just a reminder... "Fabricca" isn't a first name; it means "Workshop."

I have a micro mosaic by FAP that I posted here for ID several years ago. Now, if I could find the picture. It was my great-grandmother's.
