Hello, i Just recently bought an Office desk that i am to refurbish. Inside the mid section drawer i found it stamped Sligh furniture. Anyone knows model IMG-20190928-WA0000.jpg name or when this was produced?

The looks like the 1980 version of their stamp. Not quite 40 years old yet, so not antique. There also appears to be serious water damage on the right-hand drawers?

It is actually the wood that is like that, and they used the same sheet of wood on both drawers. Guess i need to keep it fore some decades for it to get antique then. :) Do you think this is some kind of oak tree?

Thanks for all your replies, i am new to this game.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Do you know what you're going to do to "refurbish" it?? It seems to look in pretty good shape from the pictures!

Re-condition all the leather plates, trying to buff out some of the scratches. All wood is to be lightly sanded down, then liberon finishing Oil with #0000 to obtain a gloss result. Also there is some sagging so there might be some glue and joinery work to be done.
