    Hello again :)

Found these candle holders in a joblot, I couldn't gather any info on them so put them on fleaBay. Now the weird thing is that I'm getting loads of attention for them which makes me think they are something rather special. Everybody asking about the weight of them....

This is the item in question : [IMG]

Yes, it's damaged and still loads of interest.

Thank's for your help in advance

Beats me. I would say these are Egyptian Revival but kind of get a French Napoleonic vibe from them as well. I do think these are pretty old and not some sticks from India. Can you tell if they are brass or are they gilt bronze?

They are brass as far as I'm aware, by the look the feel and the weight of them (they are really heavy, approx 0.5-6 kg each.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I like these a lot! But can't help with identification. Come back and let us know how they did on fleaBay (one of my favorite names for that site!).
