Featured Identify and value of glazed salad bowl set

My mother passed away and I found this green glazed salad bowl set in her belongings. The word “Italy” and numbers “888/487” are hand-written on the bottom. Does anyone know who might have made it, the age and value?

Thank you for your condolences and your help. I don’t recall my mother ever using this set and I expected to see her initials on the bottom, but instead it looks like it was made in Italy.

 

Very similar to the Portuguese line by Pinheiro Bordallo, but not majolica.

 

Interesting. It certainly does look like Pinheiro Bordallo although colorway not quite right.

I thought they were maple leaves. I didn’t even see that there is a vine around the edge. Hmmm

Absolutely grape or vine leaves, a very Mediterranean theme.

1960s into maybe very early 70s, Italian as it says. I can't remember who used that number sequence, it's not Bitossi, might be that unpronounceable one. There's an excllent facebook page for Italian pottery, someone will know in a heartbeat. Yes, it's got value, this mid century stuff is very popular.
