    Hello!

New here. Hopefully this is the correct place to post this. :)

I was wondering if anyone here would be able to provide any information on this set of dolls. They were my aunt's, who collects cloth dolls, although she has decided she no longer wants these particular ones. The only information she has on them is that they might be French, as that was how they were listed when she bought them years ago.

There are no tags or markings on the dolls themselves. On the clothes, the girl's trousers say 44, but that likely isn't much help. Her shoes have a peach logo on the inside, although they might not be her original shoes (they are leather instead of cloth). The boy's shoes say STOLLE 4/40 on the bottom, but again, I'm still not sure if those are his original shoes (the bottom is plastic, which is the only bit of plastic appearing on these dolls). The clothing has PRYM buttons, although I have not been able to find a way to date the buttons specifically. And that makes up all markings I have found.

If any more pictures / angles are needed, I can definitely provide them.

    Thank you for reading!

Agree re age. Oh, here. Internet says brand Herbert Stolle. Product design West Germany. Made in China. From their costumes, they would be 1970s. Vintage, not antique. You can compare with this.

    Yes, I agree, 70s ish.
They are rather cute, with a Kathe Kruse look.

Thank you everyone! Good to know the boy at least has his original shoes. I appreciate the help. :)
