I got this 4" vase from the auction. I thought normally Roseville had the model or pattern number on the bottom. This piece does not. Anyone know which pattern number it may be?

    Hi,
Is it heavy for it's size? I only question since I feel that it may be among the Chinese fake items. It just doesn't have the nice painting that Roseville has. Looks like it was sprayed on instead of hand painting.:eek::eek:

Yup it looks like a fake after looking at the site laurelhollowpark. Well that sucks. Good thing it was only $2. Is there any value in that case?

Yep fake Roseville Pottery, Blackberry pattern. If I remember correctly this line is usually marked with a "R" on the bottom ---- No "Roseville" mark and no pattern, shape #s on Blackberry pieces.

Agree with the others. Worth what you can get someone to pay for it. For a small piece like that, under $10.00.

Part of the problem is that it's a fake as it's meant to deceive.

Many places won't allow selling fakes as it's sort of an ethical thing. Some would suggest smashing it, others might say sell it as a decorative object (but that perpetuates the selling fakes ethical issue really.)

    How are you selling it?
    Online - I wouldn't bother.
Garage sale mark it $5. and be honest that it is a fake. Someone will want it for color.
Retail. Mark it $9. Mark as a reproduction, again someone will want it for color.
