Bought this old hand blown cobalt glass from an estate sale. Stands 4 1/8" tall. Has some air bubbles in it and it is the most serious blue I have ever seen. Bottom has wear on the base. Hoping someone knows maker.

It's been around for sure. I'm not enough of a glassie to hazard a guess about whodunnit or where, but it's been slid on a bunch of tables for certain. @Ownedbybear @TallCakes - any idea? (figured you two would recognize Bristol if you saw it)

An era/age. Made during the reigns of Kings George 1-4, call it roughly 1714-1830. Some folks include 1831-1838 too. Bear probably would have said Regency if she meant 1805-ish to 1820. Poor King George III developed porphyria or something like that and his son became Prince Regent for about that time period until the King died. (but you'd have to ask Bear)

Holy Cow Evelyb. I didn't realize it was that old! I did also see a nice old Chinese bowl with a few cracks and a piece missing. :(

Those reign dates translate to the cup being 200+ years old; no wonder the base is scratched up. People think glass can't last that long, but we have some bits from the Romans.
