Please does anyone know the names of any of these patterns or is there a good site to research?
Any info/age etc on the silver nutcrackers and knife sharpener lower down would be great.
    Thankyou :)

Silver handle nutcrackers. Test as silver but haven't found a mark yet. Big and heavy.

Same nutcrackers. Small knife has same spider web pattern but is plate. Knife Sharpener is silver handled but again tests positive but no mark.

Can’t help ID any of them, but #5 was my parent’s everyday flatware :)

#1 is Hampton Court, #3 is Deauville, # 5 is Coronation, #6 is Lady Hamilton, #8 is Morning Star, #9 is Forever, knife honer is Patrician. I'll get back to you on the rest if you turn them over to id the manufacturers unless Baker's Gma gets here first.

Given how many Oneida patterns were in the "already identified" group, I grabbed a couple books. The #10 items may be Oneida "Georgian" from 1912. The knife sharpener #11 is probably Oneida "Patrician" from 1914.

Numbers 2, 4 and 7 are the ones that don't look at all familiar to me. We'll need a maker.

This looks right although I can't find a photo of the nutcrackers anywhere on the internet. At least I have a pattern identified now- Thankyou.

Can you get pictures of these marks for me? Although Oneida had a pattern named Cereta, it looks nothing like this pattern and I cannot find a 'maker' named Cereta Plate. Can't find a Dorchester Silver Plate or USA Sterling (which is unlikely to be sterling) either. These may not be American makers. Or since there were a myriad of small plating firms that came and went in the late 1800's and many "trademarks" created by larger known makers that had limited exposure in the market, they may just not be documented.

Ok. Any chance that #7 with the imprint that starts with a P might actually be an R with a d for registered?
