ID-Help on this wooden bowl-teak & or Danish ?

    Picked this bowl up for $2 today & i wondered if anyone can tell me what type of wood & what does the bottom brand say ?
    It's 4" tall and 8 1/4" across,looks like it was turned from a single piece (not laminated),and it seems to be a missing a lid
