ID brass bed

The bed has this flower on the foot board. Can anyone id this brand?

 

If that is the best description you can offer, and the best photo you can provide , I highly doubt that anyone here....or anywhere for that matter can help you identify the thing you are asking about...

Look around for some patent numbers, etc. that can be stamped into the frame. Sometimes these are underneath or on the sides where they are not visible.

 

I will get better pictures and look for patent nimbers. Thx

I see your problem. I was hoping for something that references the name of the company. @verybrad do you have some thoughts?

 

I can’t see the new pics on my computer, just the first one with a brass flower. To estimate age we need pics we can see, one of whole bed, and one showing connection between headboard and rail.

Definitely appears to be an older (possibly antique) bed. I am wondering if a spindle is missing and the flower thing (cabinet door knob?) is just to fill the hole. Is there a corresponding hole above?

Agreed. Older (ca. 1930’s or before) and missing spindle with unoriginal flower thing added. Could possibly pin down date better by showing pic of joint btwn footboard and one of the rails.
