I would appreciate some help identifying this bed frame! :)

    Hey there!

    I recently acquired this queen-sized bed frame from someone who was refurnishing their home and took a modern approach. I would love some help identifying it, as the individual doesn't remember where this particular piece came from. I was informed that it used to have a very thick and heavy metal "boxspring" with handles on the corner edges (unsure if it was original, or recreated by the antique dealer they got it from 20-ish years ago)

    Thank you in advance, I really appreciate it. My next step will be to appraise it, even though I will most likely be keeping it. Also, if any of you have any tips or suggestions as to how to clean the fabric on the headboard, that would be amazing as well.

    Looks like 1970s or 80s French Provincial style
