Featured I think this necklace is made of shell. Can anyone tell me what kind?

    Lizzie All you need is love ...and a dog.

    I thought at first it might be Mother of Pearl. I have searched for hours but am not turning up anything that matches. Would you call them beads? chips? They are tiny at 1/16 of an inch. Thanks for any assistance in identification. It is 28". Mostly they are white but some have blue and some have brown on/in them as you can see from the first picture.

    looks like they are cut from tubes......could they be glass ?

    Thanks Komokwa! Just the direction I needed. Presidium says they're glass. I did not expect that. I was stuck on shell.
