I purchased a pair of nicely detailed turkey salt and pepper shakers. Solid metal (Pewter?) with a screw on head instead of a plastic or cork stopper. They each measure 2" x 2".
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

More likely fantail pigeons, which may help with searches.

Not much help so far... They are definitely turkeys and made of pewter. With all the knowledge here, I was hoping for some help on the maker's mark.

Anatomical structures on the head and throat of a domestic turkey.
    1. Caruncles, 2. Snood, 3. Wattle (dewlap), 4. Major caruncle, 5. Beard

I don't see any of these features on your finely detailed birds.

well you said you metal and then put pewter with a question mark so at least that is one question answered. The makers mark is too small for me to see.

Don't ' peck ' the hand that feeds you....it's only been a couple of days.....and your item is new...not antique........so maybe look around for another site with knowledge of newer items , as they might have ' better knowledge ' than we do !:meh:
