I think all of these were a sov a string.

The blue plastic Hong Kong ones were a freebie from the dealer I'd bought the job lot from.

What stone do we think the garnet coloured ones are, please? The blue inclusions are confusing me.

I don’t think glass, or at least not all of them? No bubbles, lots of striations and inclusions.

Agate, imo. There are natural agates from India that have that colour combination.
Beautiful necklace with those deep colours and the different cuts of the stones.

Isn’t it nice, and agate makes sense. There’s blue shadows in the red too.

I hope they're agate, but the only times I've found anything looking similar they've been glass.

I was told years ago that the blue glass beads in 1st pic were old Mardi Gras beads. I've seen them more recently described as Deco but I don't really think they are. They give me an India vibe.

I’ve rather a lot of chain strung glass beads like this, and I think Indian too. There’s some Czech ones, but they look more like glass agate.

They are very similar to the Scottish glass agate bead necklaces.

The green beads in the 4th pic look like green aventurine quartz. The aqua ones in the 6th pic have a Neiger feel to them.

Aventurine quartz makes sense. The ones which look Neiger are plastic, would you believe, with a Hong Kong tag!

Crazy 60s Hong Kong plastic? Yeppers. I figured they were plastic from Day 1.

I'm rather fond of HK plastic jewellery, it seems to follow me home.

I can't wear plastic sometimes, but they did make some fun stuff.
