I think in this case China means China, not china.

Thanks King! E bay functions really strange. I searched and searched with different terms, and couldnt find anything remotely similar.
I also think China means country of origin, but searching Dialco for a company only leads to a safety indicators manufacturer

This really doesn't look Chinese to me. If anything, it looks Japanese.

Now, here's the thing. If you google on Dialco Porcelain, you get the fact that the O'Hara Dial Co had a relationship with Lenox - and made porcelain, or at least marketed it. And didn't Lenox use variants on wreath marks?

After reading you message, Bear, I took a turn around the web finding very little if anything of use. I did find a stein website that went into detail about an O'Hara connected to Waltham watches. Seems he was once a foreman with the company. His job was making the porcelain dials. Around 1890 he and another formed the Waltham Watch Dial Co. When the other man left, he renamed the company O'Hara Dial Co. I don't remember all the details, but seems the dial business went down the drain and he turned to other porcelain stuff and such like the porcelain on steins.

Here's another stein website with more info and showing a connection of O'Hara to Lenox:

Wiki... says the company operated until 1950s:

Replacements.com has 1 china pattern listed under O'Hara China. I suspect it is the same company. The one pattern has a rose in the center and has gold trim.

Nowwww I'm certainly not positive your DialCo and this O'Hara is one and the same but certainly a possibility.

Folks, thank you so much. If I may add first hand impression, they feel like new stuff.
