Hello, I’m Erin from NC, I recently found an old landfill near me and am finding lots of stuff from late 1800’s to early 1900’s! There are some things I’d like to get identified!

    Welcome Erin!
How exciting to find an old tip. We have one in our village that I occasionally go and have a scrape around in, you never know what you are going to find.
Look forwards to seeing what you find :)

So far I’m finding lots of broken china! I’ve got a pretty good date on it between 1900 and 1915! I’ve found a few pieces that say made especially for Carolina Hotel( local hotel still in business!) by Higgens and Seiter. The hotel was built in 1901 and Higgins and Seiter went out of business in 1915. There’s also lots of broken bottles most of which seem to be late 1800’s!
