Hutschenreuther Large Oval Platter Swastika Mark

    Picked up a good size platter. Has the Hutschenreuther mark and a Swastika mark. Was this exclusively for German use?

    Hi kraftblue! I searched porcelainmarksandmore under swastika and came up with the same swastika mark used by Porzellanfabrik Königszelt A.G. Chris indicated it meant for "generic military use". Perhaps the same applies to your mark?

    What is a good size? I'm thinking this was made for some branch of the German government, perhaps the Wehrmacht, but not the Kriegsmarine, which had the letter M in their version of the symbol shown.
