Featured Huge Sterling Turquoise Pendant

    This is a monster, 80 grams, 3 1/2 inches tall, no marks, tests sterling. From what I've learned here and seen on-line, I'm thinking maybe Chinese turquoise and not too old? What do you all think about age and country of origin? Thanks!

    I see no indication of SW American........but I do see it's flat out stunning !!!

    Nepal , maybe ?

    The stones on the left side look like dyed magnesite or howlite. Hard to tell if other stones are the same from the photos.

    Dyed and stabilized chalk turquoise maybe? Not southwestern, I agree.

    I'm wondering if there is a word for those stabilizing cross bars built onto the back of the pendant? I've never seen that done before.
