Huge copper vessel ?age use

    The mark looks Russian circa 1900

    Any thoughts on use. People say still, but I don't think that is right

    Is there a spigot on the other side that you're not showing in the picture? I don't know what it would be for, if you can fill it up, but the only way to empty it is to dump it out from the top.
    If that's the case it can't be a boiler or a samovar.

    No spigot. Thinking maybe to hold dry food items
